Goodbye 2016!

We finished out the year on a high note!  Well, minus that fact that most of us got sick during the kids winter break.  Hahaha!  On Christmas Eve Donnie dowloaded Mario Run for the kids to play on their Ipads so we spent the afternoon cuddling in blankets and playing the game.  This kids opened jammies from Grandma that night.  For dinner we had hot pastrami sandwiches since that was always our favorite part of Julebukking in Petersburg.

Christmas Day was amazing.  The kids got presents from each other, Nanna and Poppop, and so many of my friends sent fun things for them to open.  We played together all day, relaxing in comfy clothes.  I never wanted it to end!

We also celebrated Lyssa's birthday the Friday after Christmas.  She wanted a carnival for her party so we set up carnival games and the kids all got bags of candy as their prizes.  For dinner we had Lyssa's favorite, hamburgers and french fries.  We ended up having her cake the day after because we were too full from dinner to have dessert.

Another big happening was Mandy attending her first Church dance.  She had so much fun!  This year was hard and we are glad it's over.  Can't wait to see what 2017 brings!
