So, we have a jar. It used to have pickles in it, I think. Now, it has spiders in it, some alive some dead. And flies. And those things that look like giant mosquitos. And a bee. And lots of webs. And it smells bad, like decay inside. A friend of mine calls it a jar of nightmares. I agree. I'm really glad the nightmares can't get out!
This jar started because of my mom. I remember her catching a spider in a jar and then putting another in and they ate each other. Gross, and Cool! So, one day when a spider tried to touch me (how dare he!!) I thought, "I guess I should put this in a jar where it can't eat me and then when I find another one I can put that in there too and they can eat each other and then I don't have to squish them and worry that they might come back to life or somehow bite me through the tissue I'm squishing them with." And so, the spider jar happened.
Right now there are 3 live spiders in it, and they are hungry!
